Final Digipak Idea

This is the idea for our final digipak. Our front cover will be a picture of a polaroid hanging on a line, where the polaroid will be a photograph of the girl character. The picture will be in black and white and the photograph of the girl will be a close-up of her face to show that she's upset. The back cover will be a strip of four pictures of the relationship being to fall apart. The cover that the audience will see when they open up the digipak will be similar to the front cover, however the polaroid will be a photograph of the couple in the happiest times of the relationship. When the digipak is fully opened out, the audience will be able to see that the photographs are a timeline of the relationship. This reflects our music video as the relationship begins happy, which is shown in the flashback and the beginning with the voiceover. Then throughout the course of the music video, the audience can see the realtionship beginning to deteriorate and finally broken apart at the end when the girl is shown throwing the letter off the cliff and climbs to higher ground.  

The inside of our digipak will contain the middle cover and the two covers on the left and the right that would hold the discs. The middle cover will be our track list where the tracks will be listed on the letter that is the main focus in our music video. We thought this idea would be a great effect to use as it allowed the digipak to be relateable to the music video. The two other covers behind the discs will contain quotes from songs lyrics from the tracks. The left side, which will be the happy quotes from Christina Perri's songs and will be behind the CD disc. The right side will show the sad quotes, which will be behind the DVD. This will further show the audience that the CD is the girl's heart with the happy quotes and the sad quotes behind the DVD which is the boy's heart.
