Evaluation Questions

1. In what ways does your music video use, develop or challenge the forms and conventions of a music video?

2. How effective is the combination of your main product and the two ancillary texts?

3. What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

4. How did you use the media technologies in the construction, research, planning and evaluation stages?

Audience Feedback Questionnaire

This is some of the feedback which we recieved from the audience. This enabled us to see what other people thought worked and what they thought didn't work. It gave us an insight into how people viewed our product and their ideas and opinions on it.

Online Audience Feedback

We recieved some online audience feedback by posting our music video on YouTube. This allowed our group to get a wide variety of responses from people of different genders and age groups.

Disc Design

This is the disc design for our final product. The CD being the disc on the left and the DVD being the disc on the right. We wanted to keep to the theme of hearts as it can link to the title of the song. We chose a red heart to signify the girl's heart and the black heart to signify the boy's heart. The red heart has a puzzle piece missing from the heart that is lying next to the black heart. This represents that idea that the boy has 'taken a piece of her heart.' Our group thought that this metaphor would successfully represent the girl character as she is heart broken in the music. Whereas the boy, from the girl's point of view, has a 'black' heart which suggests her hatred towards him.
